pootle.wordforge.org Procedures
This is to explain the current Procedures for working with pootle.wordforge.org.
These procedures will change from time to time.
Most of these procedures are in place temporarily and should be replaced over time with automatic web-driven facilities that are not there yet (e.g. adding a language, uploading PO files, etc).
In general, for almost any administrative action at the moment, the solution is to mail the pootle mailing list.
Adding a Project
At the moment, to add a new project (meaning an open source project like KDE, Firefox, etc) that is not currently listed on pootle.wordforge.org, please send a mail to the pootle mailing list (see the resources page) with your request, including details of where to get PO files for that project (preferably over CVS / some version control system)
Adding a Language
If your language is not listed on the main page, simply email the mailing list with the ISO code for the language and the name of the language and the site administrator will add it (its simple).
The more complex bit at the moment is adding a new language to a project that doesn't have that language listed. This basically means adding a new set of PO files, but the process isn't automated yet. If you already have PO files describe how to get them from CVS / wherever they are in an email to the list and they should be added. If not, plea for help :-)
